Housing Choice Vouchers are issued by your local Public Housing Agency (PHA), not by Adashi directly. We cannot approve or deny your voucher, but we can help you understand what our properties require once you have one.
Note: Income limits, waiting lists, and voucher issuance are handled by your local housing authority. Contact them directly for information on applying for a voucher.
Upload or share your voucher details and we will let you know which of our current homes are most likely to fit your approval range—before you spend time on applications.
We respect your privacy. Your information is used only to help evaluate fit with Adashi-managed properties.
“From the first phone call, they understood my voucher and helped me find a place that worked for my kids’ school district. The inspection and move-in were explained step by step.”
Tanisha, Section 8 resident
“Maintenance actually calls back. When I had an issue with the heat in the winter, they responded the same day and followed up to make sure everything was okay.”
Michael, long-term resident
“I was nervous about using my voucher for the first time. Adashi walked me through what my housing worker needed and kept me updated until I got my keys.”
Renee, first-time voucher holder
Here are answers to common questions from residents using Section 8 vouchers. If you do not see your question here, our team is happy to help directly.
We cannot submit an application or determine your eligibility for a voucher. Only your local Public Housing Agency (PHA) can do that. However, we can point you toward the correct housing authority and share general information about what to expect once you have a voucher.
Some properties may have application or screening fees, which will always be disclosed upfront. We follow all applicable fair housing and consumer protection laws related to screening and fees.
In many cases, we can tentatively hold a home while inspection is pending, based on a completed application and any required holding fees or deposits. Because demand is high, we cannot guarantee holds without completed steps. Our team will explain your options for the specific property you are interested in.
Your housing authority must approve the contract rent for the home. In some cases, your portion of the rent can increase up to program limits, but we cannot complete a lease if the rent does not meet your PHA’s payment standards or regulations.
Yes, when residents follow lease terms and program rules, we aim for stable, long-term housing relationships. Lease renewals are subject to property owner decisions, inspection results, and continued approval from your housing authority.
Submit a quick inquiry and our team will follow up within 1–2 business days with current availability, next steps, and what to expect based on your voucher.
